Boaters and paddlers are rejoicing as the shadows of rocks and shoals emerge in the now clear waters of the Little Conemaugh. Known for turbid yellow-orange waters from mine drainage, the Little Conemaugh was just another stream that seemed lost to reckless exploitation of coal and other mining operations.
